Student Prizes

Grade Categories: Exceptional Needs, K-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12
1st, 2nd and 3rd Prizes will be awarded to each Grade Category.

1st $250 plus $250 retail Royal Brush Gift Certificate
2nd $100 plus $100 retail Royal Brush Gift Certificate
3rd $50 plus $50 retail Royal Brush Gift Certificate

Every entry receives a Certificate of Participation.

Rules - Deadline is January 31st

• Must be painted on an 11"x14" surface.
• Paint must be applied with a brush.
• Can be painted with any type of paint.
• Must be the student's own personal design (No adult or second person help is allowed).
• One submission per student.
• Paintings will be judged on:
  • Originality
  • Color Usage
  • Creativity
• Subject should relate to "The World We Live In"
• Students must be endorsed by an art teacher in a school system.
• Contest will be judged by an impartial jury and all decisions will be final.
• Winners will be annouced at the National Art Education Association Convention.
• Winning paintings become property of Royal Brush and may be viewed at www.royalbrush.com.
• Royal Brush reserves the right to use winning paintings in ads and promotional materials.
• Non-winning paintings can be returned if supplied with a pre-paid self addressed container.
